A Terminal UI for browsing and listening to one's Spotify songs and playlists.
I have always been fascinated by cool looking terminal UIs. Whether I saw them in movies, shows, or inside some old magazines or images of the late ’90s or early 2000s. With the rise in popularity of the OpenTUI, and one of the most popular examples being OpenCode, I really wanted to give it a try.
This is also a great opportunity for me to learn something new. Designing an application like this is kind of similar to a desktop application. Nearly everything should and is happening on the backend, and only exposed via a bridge, which the frontend can use.
EffectTS approach to this are Atoms. Yet unstable, but great for reactivity. Most of this is new to me, learning a lot about system design and building proper interfaces.
